Station Schedule

The Schedule feature in Radio Prep is your central hub for organizing the station’s on-air lineup. It lets you map out which presenters and shows are on at what times and on which days. With a few clicks, you can build a clear, color-coded schedule that everyone can follow.

Customization and Embedding:

You can color-code the schedule to make it visually easy to read. Another great element is that you can embed this schedule directly into your website. In the settings, you’ll find the embed code with three display options: list view, weekly view, or monthly view. This means as you update the schedule in Radio Prep, your website will automatically reflect the latest changes, keeping listeners informed of who’s on air and when.

Adding Show Notes:

Presenters can also interact with the schedule. When they view the schedule in Radio Prep, they can click on their show slot for a specific date and time, and a pop-up box will appear. This lets them add notes or teasers that will be displayed alongside the schedule. A small speech bubble icon will appear next to their name, alerting others that there are notes to view. This is a fantastic way for presenters to leave information about upcoming segments, promote special content, or let colleagues know what’s coming up.

Integration with Other Features:

As mentioned earlier, the schedule ties into other Radio Prep features like timesheets. Keeping the schedule accurate means that when presenters submit their invoices, the times can be cross-referenced automatically, ensuring everything lines up perfectly.

In short, the Schedule feature is your go-to tool for keeping the station’s programming organized and visible to everyone—both inside the station and out in the audience.
